As the crow files. Assuming, of-course, that you are a crow (or any other bird capable of sustained flight), or, that you are able to travel via a flying machine of some sort. ![]() What: Pale Red Dot showing Barbados (with apologies to Pale Blue Dot) via GeoHack - Barbados.
Barbados is an island in the Caribbean. It is not Jamaica.
The Caribbean is a region of land and sea located on the
Planet Earth (around Lat 13 deg N and Long 59 deg W).
Before you go, have you ever thought about how difficult
it is to locate something? Think about it for a second.
If a house guest asks where your bathroom is,
you simply tell him/her (down the hall, first
door on your left or right, whatever).
Easy, right? Deceptively so.
In order for you to give those directions, you had
to know where the hall was to begin with (seeing as
how it's your house, you already knew, but still...)
Put another way, in order for us to locate
something (e.g., Item A) in time and space,
it seems as though we always have to know
the location of an Item B.
But in order for us to locate Item B, we have
to know, once again, where another thing is: Item C.
Boggles the mind, yes? I mean, this sort of thing
could go on forever (but I won't).
